Front board has an open tear along top edge, another open tear along length of lid, 2 inch closed tear at each of the front edges, some soil, dusting on top board, some irregular spots of fading on rear board, 1x3 inches of cloth peeled back from inside of lid. Books themselves have spines faded and gilt dulled along upper portions, bit of faint mottling on cloth, dust darkening on top edges of textblock.
