Hardcover. Condición: As New. This Gazetteer is the work of Mr. A.H. Diack., C.S. who was settlement officer of Kulu during the year 1887 to 1890, and for a portion of 1891. P.D. Agnew merely revised it and brought it up to date in parts, particularly in the portions relating to the Frost settlement and the Waziri rupi settlement. The Appendix containing the more important of the various notifications issued under the Indian Forest Act, VII of 1878 is given because these notifications are of constant use to those in charge of the district administration, they are here collected in a readily accessible form. The appendix giving an account of Mr. Louis Dane's journey across from Spiti to the Parbati Valley in Waziri Rupi by a route untried up to his time of some general interest. (jacket).
