Añadir al carritoSoftcover. Condición: Good. Unknown edition. Folio. Two nested bifolia making eight pages. Scattered foxing throughout but heaviest on the exterior, and edgewear including a small tear to the top left corner of the back cover, a complete but good only copy. For voice and piano. Plate imprint, "N. 8607." The back cover features short samples of six songs by J.L. Roeckel. The front cover states "Sung by edward Lloyd Esq.," a famous nineteenth century tenor. This song is originally titled, "The Banks o' Doon" but is sometimes called "Ye Banks and Braes" in reference to the lyrics of the third version of the song. Burns originally set the words to the air "The Caledonian Hunt's Delight" and he wrote three versions of the lyrics (all originally published in 1791). The lyrics printed here are from the second version. *OCLC* locates only a single holding and it appears to be equally uncommon in the trade.
