This copy of "American Wildflowers" by Walter Prichard Eaton, is a complete 1914 stand-alone monograph that was disbound from a larger collection of disparate subject matters. It was published by the Mentor Association Department of Natural History Serial No. 63, and consists of 24 pages, including those that make up the color illustrations (with text on the reverse sides); it has 12 vignette black-and-white photographs through the text, which interact interestingly with the page layouts. These color pictures are printed on a stiff card stock. There are explanatory texts for each picture. The six color pictures depict Flowering Dogwood; White Daisies; White Water Lily; Buttercups and Wild Geranium; Asters. and American Goldenrod; Sweetbriar Rose, Yellow Rock Rose, and White Asters.
