Riemergono le meditazioni su Braque e De Staël, ma, soprattutto, i dialoghi pittorici con la Scuola di New York di Betty Parsons e Peggy Guggenheim che hanno portato le sue opere nei più importanti musei di New York e alla Peggy Guggenheim Collection di Venezia.
