As the global climate crisis intensifies, organizations are increasingly called upon to not only reduce their environmental impact but also build resilience against climate-related disruptions. While much of the focus has been on technological and operational solutions, Human resource management plays a critical role in promoting climate change mitigation and resilience strategies. By using sustainability principles into HR practices such as recruitment, training, and organizational culture, HR management can empower employees to become active agents for environmental change. Promoting Climate Change Mitigation and Resilience Strategies Through Human Resource Management explores the growing menace of climate risks to global vulnerability and how this should be turned into mitigation and resilience strategies. This book bridgees the gap between what we know in theory and what we need to put into practice. Covering topics such as climate change, HR management, and employee training, this book is an excellent resource for climate change researchers, policy makers, and graduate students.
