The hydroelectric micro plants are seen today as an excellent alternative to solve the problem of the lack of rural electrification, together with low cost mechanisms, as is the case of non-conventional hydraulic Turbines, such as the Indalma Turbine, which is one of the focuses of this work, in which a qualitative and quantitative analysis of this power generation unit was carried out. The present work makes a study about a hydroelectric microcenter located in the West of Pará, in which it fits in the context of the insertion of distributed electric power generation, where the referred scenario is still common in several isolated communities. Thus, this work aims to carry out measurements of physical quantities in order to obtain information on the characteristics of the project to which the plant was conceived, especially considering the use of an Indalma turbine in this venture, thus being able to know the hydraulic potential and how much is being used electrically. It was possible to notice through the hydraulic potential of that location, that a significant part is not being used due to various types of losses that occur during generation.
