Sinopsis
The age of technology has provided many benefits to society, such as the evolving media making the exchange of information more intensive. As a result, people, companies and organisations felt a greater need to protect their information as attacks on this data became more sophisticated. Therefore, this work aims to develop a software that promotes the security and privacy of information in communication channels by applying the LSB (Less Significant Bit) steganography technique together with Huffman's algorithm, in which it enables the compression and hiding of the message in the less significant bits of the digital image, making the information go unnoticed by others. Thus, after the effectiveness and usability tests performed with the ready-made software, it was found that the system proved to be efficient in what it set out to do, since in the tests there were no noticeable changes in the images that carried the information entered and the usability test had a high acceptance rate by the users, which means that it has a great contribution to make to society.
