The world is facing many challenges and one of them is financial. This publication is designed to provide competent and reliable information regarding the subject matter covered. The book describes theory and practical applications to the use of Panzer and Rosse model to measure the degree of competition of the Ghana's banking industry. Of course the theory and results presented in this book is not perfect and complete, however it provides an indication to the marketing structure of the Ghana's banking system and how liberalization has impacted on the banking industry. The book also describes the policies and regulation that has changed the Ghana's banking industry during the preliberalization and postliberalization. Base on the H-statistics derived from the Panzer and Rosse model, the structure of the Ghana's banking system were describe as near perfect market condition.The book provides policy implications and recommendations, which might be useful to regulator and policymakers.

Biografía del autor
George Owusu-Antwi is a Visiting Lecturer at Ghana Institute of Management of Public Administration. He has a D.B.A from Nova Southeastern University.He has an M.B.A from Franklin University, MS AgribusinessEconomics and MS.Ed from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He has two bachelors degrees and holds professional diploma in banking.
