The main aim of this book is to solve two type of problems namely forward and inverse problems arises in population balances. Forward problems are solved using finite volume scheme and cell average technique. The finite volume scheme is computationally less expensive and predicts the numerical results with higher accuracy. However, the inverse problems are solved with method of weighted residual which does not rely on any specific traits like self-similarity.
