"ABC Israel is a beautifully photographed alphabet book about Israel. Each letter of the alphabet is illustrated by a full-page color photo depicting Israel's beauty. For example, the letter y shows a field carpeted with yellow wild flowers in bloom. U stands for 'up', an aerial view of Haifa's rooftops taken from the Baha'i Gardens. An added feature is an index which consists of a short paragraph describing an interesting fact about each location of the photographs. Recommended for Jewish libraries." -- AJL Review
