This book contains seven stories from the pen of F. Scott Fitzgerald. Some are better known than others but all exemplify his style and, as always, reveal as much of the age they were written as about the author himself. As well as his novels, Fitzgerald wrote a string of short stories - many for magazine publication. We have chosen the seven that we consider to be some of his best. They were also some of his favorites and he himself wrote an introduction to each of the stories. The stories were published in various places and times but were first published in a collection in 1922.These introductions give us a unique insight into his motivations and purpose for each story.
