Jane E. Pollock, PhD, is president of Learning Horizon, Inc. The author of many ASCD books, she works throughout the United States and internationally with teachers and administrators to improve learning by improving teaching. Susan Hensley is the K-8 executive director of curriculum and instruction for Rogers Public Schools in Rogers, Arkansas. She has worked closely with Pollock to improve teaching and learning through quality lesson planning within and outside her district. Laura Tolone has served students in the United States and internationally as a teacher, librarian, administrative leader, and consultant.
