The second part deals with healing, for there comes a time when grievers want to do more than just survive; this section covers topics such as grief work, rituals, and growth. Applying social science and personal experience, this author has written a smart, concise, and compassionate guide, delving into the deeply necessary what, why, and how of grief.

Acerca del autor

Diane Kirby B.A., LL.B, is a retired lawyer who lives in London, Ontario (Canada), with her dog and cat. She began writing essays to process her grief following the death of her husband David. She is also enrolled at King's University College, where she studies Thanatology (the study of dying, death, and grieving). Demystifying Grief, her debut book, is the unification of her personal essays and grief scholarship. It is the book she wishes she had had the opportunity to read when she started her grief journey.
