The Comics Since 1945 was first published in 2002 and quickly become an important guide to American comics. Due to the success of the first volume, we followed up with The Comics Before 1945 published in 2004. Combined, the two books have sold nearly 30,000 copies.

Acerca del autor
Brian Walker is a cartoonist and founder of the International Museum of Cartoon Art, and has written and edited more than a dozen books, including Abrams' The Comics Before 1945 and The Comics Since 1945. He is also part of the creative team that produces the syndicated newspaper strips Beetle BaileyA" and Hi and Lois.A" He lives in Wilton, Connecticut.
