No book has done more to define modern poetry than T. S. Eliot's Collected Poems. The pinnacle of a lifetime's curation by Eliot himself, it was initially published in 1936, and then revised by Eliot to form the present edition of the text that was issued in 1963. But over the course of a lifetime, and throughout its many printings, variants, discrepancies, authorial revisions and printers' errors have introduced anomalies that have served to undermine the authority of the volume. This new, reset publication establishes a corrected and reliable text for Eliot's poetry that enables an authoritative edition of Collected Poems 1909-1962 to be presented here for the very first time.
