Advanced Welding has been developed as a direct response to requests for a book to carry on from where Basic Welding finishes. Although the term 'advanced' is, of course, relative, it is felt that its use is justified here, as the text introduces the reader to advanced welding processes and greater depth together with associated background history and metallurgy. It is intended to act as a reference book for engineers and a text book for students, covering many aspects of the European/International Welding Engineer syllabus.
