This book offers a comprehensive introduction to workflow management, the management of business processes with information technology. By defining, analyzing, and redesigning an organization's resources and operations, workflow management systems ensure that the right information reaches the right person or computer application at the right time. Acerca de los autores

Wil M.P. van der Aalst is Distinguished University Professor at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. He is the coauthor of Workflow Management: Models, Methods, and Systems and Modeling Business Processes: A Petri Net-Oriented Approach (both published by the MIT Press).

Kees van Hee is Professor of Computing Science at Eindhoven University of Technology and Chairman of the Board of Deloitte & Touche Bakkenist.
