Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book provides a comprehensive overview of the legal recourse, Appeals, in the Brazilian civil procedural system. The Civil Appeals process is situated within the wider scope of Brazilian civil judicial proceedings. The author explains the various grounds for an appeal, such as annulment or injunction, and the conditions under which each type of appeal can be filed. A key insight of this book is the distinction between an Appeal (voluntarily initiated by the party) and an Appeal ex officio (initiated by the judge). The circumstances in which the judge may initiate an appeal are outlined. The author also covers the process of appealing, including the methods of filing, time limits, and the procedure for handling Appeals in the second instance. This book is an essential resource for legal professionals and scholars seeking a thorough understanding of Appeals in Brazilian civil procedure.
