Paperback. Don't Wait: A Memoir of Healing, Faith, and the Marathon of BecomingIn this raw, relatable, and deeply inspiring memoir, the author's unwavering courage shines through as she bravely reflects on how moments from her childhood unknowingly shaped and groomed her, leaving lasting imprints on her sense of self. Don't Wait chronicles her courageous path-not just to the finish lines of the New York City and Philadelphia Marathons, but to something far more profound: self-acceptance, emotional healing, and the discovery of inner strength. With honesty and grace, she weaves in the vital role her mother's love, her family's unwavering support, and her steadfast faith played throughout her journey. Their presence, like a warm embrace, served as both an anchor and a light as she confronted brutal truths and navigated personal transformation.Threaded through the miles of training and race-day victories is a story that transcends sport. Through intimate reflection and unflinching vulnerability, the author bares her soul, exploring the quiet, often invisible battles so many of us face: self-doubt, Imposter Syndrome, perfectionism, and the deep fear of not being enough. This isn't a story about pace or podiums-it's about permission: to start before you're ready, to stumble, to keep going even when afraid. It's about reclaiming your voice after it's been silenced, discovering your worth in a world that demands you prove it, and learning to honor your timeline in a culture obsessed with speed and comparison.More than a memoir, Don't Wait is a rallying cry for anyone standing on the edge of a dream, uncertain whether they belong. It's a reminder that courage doesn't mean the absence of fear-it means choosing to show up anyway. That growth requires process, progress isn't always visible, and healing doesn't follow a straight path.Whether you're navigating grief, embracing a new beginning, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself, Don't Wait offers encouragement, perspective, and a powerful truth: Don't Wait is a powerful reminder that your pace is your power. And the best time to begin your journey of healing and self-discovery is now. This memoir is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and a beacon of hope for anyone seeking to overcome their personal challenges. This item is printed on demand.
