Embracing seaside lifestyles across the globe Living near the sea promises an intense experience of nature. The view of waves breaking on the shore or of the vast horizon behind steep cliffs determines the alignment of the building. Sunsets and spectacular cloud formations are very present on the interior, while balconies, terraces and winter gardens serve as elevated lookout points. These are the constants that constitute the basis of the various solutions that distinguish the residences presented in this book. Whether modern and understated to turn the attention primarily to the magnificent landscape, or indulging in a world of shapes and materials that reflect the surrounding context – all presented beach houses enchantingly highlight the magic of nature.
