In this bleakly beautiful new collection from Pumpkin Boy Press, poet Michael Mahin offers a melancholy, moving examination of medical and mental health tumult in his late twenties. Touching on everything from grief to gay sex, rinds is a slender but powerfully rendered look at life in the grips of its "darker, darkest" shades, as well as the bits of light that can still come gleaming through sometimes.
