An original very early issue of Country Life Magazine dated February 22nd 1930 featuring a main article on Hidcote Manor in Gloucestershire, The Seat of Mr. Lawrence Johnstone. With a nine page write up with black and white illustrations of the manor exterior, gardens and grounds. Country Life Magazine commenced publication in 1897 and these early issues have become highly collectable and a valuable reference to the house owners of today, architects, restorers and renovators and anyone interested in the history of the building. They have an extensive write up with pictures of the building (interior and exterior) and garden as it was at that time.
