Paperback. This is a book about friendship, almost-love, timing, and the people who accidentally teach us everything. In this intimate collection of freestyle poetry, Amy documents a transformation shaped by the seasons of grief-mourning loved ones, friends, family, and the heartbreaks that tear you open. These poems travel through the full landscape of emotion: the heaviness of loss, the ache of almost, the quiet heartbreaks no one sees, and the slow rebuilding that carries you from grieving to healing. With a voice that is raw, relatable, and unflinchingly sincere, Amy captures what it means to care deeply for someone who isn't ready, to hold space without losing yourself, and to survive the moments that break you down before they build you back up. Her writing explores the stops along the way-the dark nights, the small mercies, the softening, the resilience, and the unexpected growth that follows every ending. This book isn't about villains or heroes-it's about humans. It's about the friend who stayed close enough to matter but never close enough to choose. It's about the loved ones we lose and still carry. It's about the lessons we never asked for but somehow needed. It's about walking through heartbreak, grief, love, and misalignment-and coming out changed. For anyone who has ever loved quietly, lost a loved one, hurt privately, grieved in waves, or risen slowly-this collection is for you.A reminder that the things we walk away from often lead us to the things we were meant to find.
