Engraved title page with some marginal wear. Early MS note to the top right margin of the title dated 1590. Rear of the title with extensive contemporary MS notes. Occasional small contemporary marginal notes in the text. A very good, crisp and clean copy in the main. Minor light marks or blemishes only. Lll3 & Lll4 towards the close bound in reverse order. Last couple of quires with minor wormholes. Overall a very copy indeed of this 1st Ed. of this commentary on the gospel of Matthew by Marlorat. Presented in a handsome period binding.
