Bound by J.B Hawes of Cambridge in full tree calf bordered with a vine-like gilt roll; backstrips richly tooled in gilt and with red and green gilt-lettered labels, blind-tooled turn-ins, marbled endpapers, top edges gilt. Backstrips lightly rubbed, endpapers a little spotted, overall a very attractive set. Armorial bookplate of F.L.
