'Strange Encounter' by A L Rowse. This book is published by Jonathan Cape 1972. Hardback with dustjacket. First edition. Historian and poet, Rowse was a Cornishman. This is his sixth volume of poetry. A very handsome copy all round. Dj is clean and bright pink with good edges. Front has line of slight fade and spine is faded. A few very tiny dark dots to edge of front dj but do not detract, Price clipped. Overall in really very good condition. Contents clean and unmarked, a lovely copy.
