Fine, clean first edition of this collection of stories and insights by J.R.R.Tolkien compiled by his son Christopher. This copy show light tape stains to the first free endpaper and the last free sheet. The blue staining to the top of the page edges is slightly faded. Otherwise it is in exceptional condition and probably unread. The jacket is bright and fresh and shows just minor edgewear to the top of the front panel. A nice collectible copy of this important work.
