She began writing BASIC textbooks in 1984 using MS-BASIC (GW-BASIC), and has authored or co-authored texts in Macintosh Basic, QuickBasic, QBasic, Visual Basic, the Internet, and desktop publishing using PageMaker, Ventura Publisher, and Publish It.
