Acerca del autor
In addition, Mr. Parke was the Digital artist for first of its kind Graphic Novel "I, Paparazzi" published by DC/Vertigo Comics which received a grade of A from Entertainment Weekly. He followed with "In the Shadow of Edgar Allan Poe" the first ever all digitally photographed graphic novel which was nominated alongside Stephen King and IDW's "30 Days of Night" for YALSA's best horror novel in 2005.
He has given talks to American Library Associations National Conference about graphic novels and emerging digital art forms. Most recently, Mr. Parke was the chief photographer and director for a leading edge graphic novel project, titled Medusa's Daughter utilizing the "sequential photography" technique to tell a story. It is set to be released in three formats, as a graphic novel, a prose novel and a short form for reluctant and dyslexic readers.
His photo work has been shown at the Baltimore Museum of Art and galleries in Loa Angeles, New York Miami, Porto and London.
He lives in Frederick, MD
