32pp. Three essays celebrating the watercolour painting of Eric Ravilious. Four colour plates of paintings by Ravilious and one plate of painting by John Sell Cotman. All part tipped in on the page. Together with a loosely inserted facsimile reproduction of a two-sided letter from Edward Bawden (Dear Gwynth) dated Nov 8, 1939. Printed on Zerkall Butten watermarked stock in a limited edition of 250 numbered copies. This is copy #139. Untrimmed fore edge and lower page edges. Cream end papers. Blue cloth quarter bound with gilt lettering on spine. Title plate tipped to blue decorated covered boards. Touch of shelf wear to tip of tail of spine. No inscriptions. Appears hardly read. The Bookshop at Beech Cottage trades exclusively via the internet. I acquire most of my stock through a network of suppliers based in southern England. My particular interests are illustrated Private Press and modern Poetry. I also have a collection of Prospectuses and similar ephemera. I am careful to select only the better quality items for the Bookshop that are within my speciality and pass on those that are outside my remit. I am a former librarian and read for pleasure - as many booksellers do! I take great care of my books while they are staying at Beech Cottage and would only ask my customers that they do likewise.
