A fine and absorbing biography of the long-time Encyclopedia of Judaica. Sterling condition hardcover copy, with unfurled tips, tight binding, and clean internals, showing only very slight shelf- and edge-wear to the black cloth over boards, with sharp and distinct gilt lettering to spine. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, little worn. From the publisher's blurb, "Cecil Roth was the first Anglo-Jewish historian to become a household name. In addition to his numerous books Roth wrote many articles for a wide range of journals in Britain and overseas, notably in America, on Jewish life and history. This volume comprises a substantial collection of them, selected for their special and continuing Jewish appeal and human interest, none of which have appeared in book form before. Roth loved travel and his many journeys to Europe inevitably included visits to regions of past or then current Jewish residence. He was an acute observer of scenes, people, atmosphere and change. Characteristic of his approach are his historical accounts of some, to us, curious observances of familiar Jewish festivals in different localities he visited. every book I have listed on-line. Sometimes, however, books change condition
insofar as they sit on the shelf for a long time, get moved by customers,
get taken to and from book fairs, and so on. If for some reason you don't
like your purchase or it arrives somehow damaged, or if it doesn't get to
you at all, you might be eligible for a refund within 30 days of the

Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).

Efectos del desistimiento

El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento

Most orders will ship within one to two business days, but often times, they
will go out on the same day as they are ordered. I've based my shipping
costs on the assumption of books weighing 2.2
LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized (extra thick, extra
long, etc.), I may contact you to let you know that extra shipping is
required. Bubble mailers and boxes will be expertly and securely wrapped and
monitored. Please contact us if there is anything extra or different you
need us to do.
