Book condition: good, very scarce first American edition, subtitle continues: "written by himself detailing many circumstances relative to the insurrection in Ireland in 1798, the expedition to Holland in 1799, and the expedition to Egypt in 1801, and giving a particular account of his religious and experience." full leather binding in very good condition showing very light scuffing to three corners, a bit more to upper back left, two minor scuffs to back finish, spine features gilt lettering with beautiful gilt detail, scuffing to spine head, heavy staining to pastedowns and back endpaper, signature at top of title page, light foxing to title page and most interior pages, all text quite legible, binding tight, 216 pages, 3.75 X 6 inches.
