A detailed and well illustrated study of the commemorative medals issued during the reigns of the four sovereigns and including those of George I until his death. Printed in two, separately paginated, parts with 22 full page copper plates in part 1 and 10 similar in part 2 totalling 32 plates as called for. Internally in very good condition, in what appears to be a modern rebind using boards from a contemporary publication which has the remains of a title label on top board and with new endpapers.
