The Dawn Treader Book Shop has been selling used and rare books in Ann Arbor since 1977. In that time we have grown from a tiny basement shop to a spacious storefront offering over seventy thousand titles.
THE BOOKLOVER'S GUIDE TO THE MIDWEST describes the Dawn Treader as 'An absolutely fabulous bookshop, with something for everyone,' which was their highest praise for any shop in the Midwest. LaVar Burton once called it the, "Best bookstore ever." We'll let you decide.
We buy books and libraries in all areas, from early printing to modern fiction. We are especially interested in the sciences and humanities; modern first editions, including science-fiction, fantasy, and mysteries; and early travel and exploration. Please let us know if you are interested in selling. Contact Africa for more information.
