Insertado suelto: una carta autógrafa de Brinsley Ford (nieto del autor) comentando sobre la escasez de ejemplares en el mercado en 1960. Una de contadísimas guías que merece mención en PMM (Printing and the Mind of Man). Completa con la sección en papel azul The Handbook Advertiser que lleva fecha de 1 May 1845. Al final del prólogo, un apéndice fechado 19 de Julio, avisa que se puede completar el viaje de Londres - Madrid en seis días. 'Primera y más estimada edición de esta notable obra.' Palau.
