Acerca del autor
David Maguire holds bachelor of science degrees in biology and geography from the University of Exeter and received his doctorate from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom. Maguire has extensive experience implementing GIS solutions around the world and has authored more than 100 publications on GIS. Michael Batty is a professor of spatial analysis and planning at University College London. He received his doctorate from the University of Wales and is a Fellow of the British Academy as well as of the RTPI, CIT, and RSA. Michael Goodchild is a professor of geography at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he directs the Center for Spatially Integrated Social Science and is chair of the executive committee of the National Center for Geographic Information and Analysis.
