Unique combination of the first Dutch translation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone with the 25th-anniversary edition. A full promo set of the latter, consisting of a flag set, a door hanger, a bookmark, a poster, and a paper bag, is included. 'Harry Potter en de Steen der Wijzen', the first Dutch edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, appeared as a paperback in August 1998 and was among the very first foreign publications, even a month before the first American edition. The first Dutch edition in Hardback (with WB movie fonts) followed October 2000. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter in the Netherlands, the publisher released a Hardback edition with identical pre-movie fonts as the first Dutch paperback edition. However, in the anniversary edition, the cover text 'Harry Potter &' is gilded. This beautifully produced edition has fold-out illustrated endpapers with a Hogwarts scenery. The text includes a rare interview with translator Wiebe Buddingh. Harry Potter en de Steen der Wijzen, first Edition,later printing: An almost fine copy with hardly any wear to the covers, inside clean without inscriptions or other flaws.
