Square 8vo - 8-5/8" x 8-3/4". Color pictorial laminated paper covered boards with light wear to the two upper fore edge corners and to the head and tail of spine, minor wear to paper and lamination, but with no loss to either, along the upper 2" of the shelf-cocked spine for what is still a nice copy of this fun little book. Color pictorial endpapers. [14] pp. In this "Golden Toy Book", double leaves form six pockets, each designed to hold one or more of the seven included items with a hook on the top for the readers to fish for as they read the book; a varying point system for each of these items determines the winner of this activity book; the book includes all of its original components, i.e., wooden fishing pole with string line and paper hook, paper sunfish, flounder, eel, tarpon, cod, an old shoe and a whale; the counting story is told in verse and is illustrated with full color drawings by Richard Scarry on every page. The condition of the book is VERY GOOD +. Only five copies located on OCLC/WorldCat. SCARCE; especially with all the original components intact and included.…
