Original 1904 edition of 'Committee of Inquiry into the Case of Mr. Adolf Beck: Report from the Committee; Together with Minutes of Evidence, Appendix and Facsimiles of Various Documents'. Features four fold-out plates at rear with sepia illustrations of case evidence. Bound in original dark green buckram with gold title lettering to front cover reading 'Report on The Smith & Beck Cases 1877, 1896, 1904 (2), 1904'. Features some newspaper cutting and one other clipping to front paste-down and f.e.p. A worn copy with cracks to front and rear gutters (although still strong), repair to final fold-out plate, quite heavy creasing and staining to some areas of text block / plates, and quite heavy marking and puckering to boards. Binding still quite strong. A working copy of this very interesting and scarce publication (hence competitive price). See images. 1.22kg. Extra postage overseas.…
