Acerca del autor
Alexander V. Vakhrushev, DSc, is Professor at the M.T. Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University in Izhevsk, Russia, where he teaches theory, calculating, and design of nano- and microsystems. He is also the Chief Researcher of the Department of Information-Measuring Systems of the Institute of Mechanics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Head of the Department of Nanotechnology and Microsystems of Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University. He is a corresponding member of the Russian Engineering Academy. He has over 400 publications to his name, including monographs, articles, reports, reviews, and patents.
Omari V. Mukbaniani, DSc, is Professor and Chair of the Macromolecular Chemistry Department of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Tbilisi, Georgia. He is also the Director of the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry at that University. He is a member of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Georgia and was a member of the advisory and editorial boards of the Journal Proceedings of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (Chemical Series) and a contributing editor to the journals Polymer News, Polymers Research Journal, and Chemistry and Chemical Technology.
Heru Susanto, PhD, is currently Head of the Information Department and a researcher at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences, Computational Science & IT Governance Research Group. At present he is also an Honorary Professor and Visiting Scholar at the Department of Information Management, College of Management, Tunghai University, Taichung, Taiwan. Dr. Susanto has worked as an IT professional in several roles, including Web Division Head of IT Strategic Management at Indomobil Group Corporation and Prince Muqrin Chair for Information Security Technologies at King Saud University. His research interests are in the areas of information security, IT governance, computational sciences, business process reengineering, and e-marketing.

Derecho al desistimiento

El periodo de desistimiento vencerá a los 14 días desde que usted, o un tercero que no sea el transportista e indicado por usted, adquiera la posesión física del último bien o del último lote o pieza.
Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento
Si rescinde este contrato, le reembolsaremos todos los pagos que hayamos recibido de usted, incluidos los gastos de envío (excepto los gastos adicionales que surjan si elige un tipo de envío que no sea el tipo de envío estándar más económico que ofrecemos).
Podemos hacer una deducción del reembolso por la pérdida de valor de cualquier bien suministrado, si la pérdida es el resultado de una manipulación innecesaria por su parte.

Deberá devolver los bienes o entregarlos a About Books, Henderson, Nevada, U.S.A., +1 (702) 750-2722, sin demoras indebidas y, en cualquier caso, en un plazo máximo de 14 días a partir del día en que nos comunique su desistimiento del presente contrato. El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
- La entrega de periódicos, diarios o revistas, con la excepción de los contratos de suscripción; y
