The copy of the Head of Sotheby's Book Department A R A Hobson with numerous lot numbers bought for him noted on the front wrapper, a leaf of notes listing 7 lot numbers and prices laid in, also laid in a saleroom notice with notes of several lots listed under the names "Dusty" and "Rota", most having coded prices but 5 marked simply 'Buy' (however Hobson seems to have been failed to win any of these, most of them being recorded as sold to "House of Books").
