Attributed to the Guild of Women-Binders, organized in May 1898 by London bookseller Frank Karslake more as a business venture than as a guild in the traditional sense of that word. He abandoned this effort in 1904. This work traces the history of St. James's Theatre from its organization to circa 1900.
