Illustrated, with a folding portrait frontispiece of the author and four folding tables. With the errata to the rear. Collated, this copy has been bound without the folding map. ESTC reference no: T138831. With the signatures: [2], B-E8, F4, G1. Richard Whitworth was a strong advocate of inland navigation and this work promotes this theory. He discusses inland navigation in England between Bristol, Liverpool and Hull. He discusses the plans for this, the cost, as well as the benefits. A smart copy of this extremely scarce work.
