Moderate shelf wear, with a pull at the spine's crown, several pulls of leather on the boards, and a series of small holes along the rear joint, showing the board beneath. Scarce in the period binding. This is Ross's printing (other printers also published this at the time) of the Acts of all three Sessions of the Fifth Congress, including the notorious Alien & Sedition Acts and establishment of the Marine Corps, plus a treaty with the Cherokees.
