An intriguing copy of the theatre impressario's book about the theatre which includes reminiscences of his own career. Signed at the title page (by Bernard Miles only) At the verso of the front endpaper a previous owner has written her name and address (in London), "Lulu". Might this be the Scottish songbird's own copy? Certainly she would have known the author. No provenance, however, so - entirely speculative, see accompanying images . VG in VG unclipped dustjacket.
