Per the colophon, the first edition of3 Poems"was printed by van Deventer's Drukkerji, Den Haag, Holland, in Times Roman on van Gelder Oud Hollands paper in March, 1974." This, from the Bouwerie Edition, was printed in 1974 in an edition of 150., of which 100 numbered 1-100 are for sale; 25 numbered P1-P25 are for the use of the poet; and 25 numbered PP1-PP25 are for the use of this publisher. This, from the poet's edition, is no. P16 and signed by Godfrey. Inscribed to Larry [Fagin] on the title page. Very good plus. Some toning to covers and with slight tears along top edge and a shallow, 1/4 in. bend to right side of front cover (see photographs). Binding tight and interior crisp. A lovely association copy.
