With a Handsome Illustration of a Clipper Ship This document is a West Coast bill of lading from January 24, 1859, related to the Oregon and California Packet Line, operated by Abernethy, Clark & Co., a prominen. Printed document on single sheet of blue paper, completed in manuscript. Signed by H. Clark. Old fold marks. Overall very good. Docketed on verso: "Abernethy, Clark & Co. / B of L Bark Saml Merritt / Sanfso. 24 Jany. 1849" With a Handsome Illustration of a Clipper Ship This document is a West Coast bill of lading from January 24, 1859, related to the Oregon and California Packet Line, operated by Abernethy, Clark & Co., a prominent Gold Rush era west coast shipping company during the mid-19th century. It records the shipment of goods from San Francisco to be delivered in Portland to one H. W. Corbett, Esq., reflecting the commercial ties between California and the Oregon Territory during this period. The left side features an illustrated logo of a clipper ship, a common symbol of speed and reliability in maritime commerce, with the heading Oregon & California Packet Line. Below it, the names of the agents, "Abernethy, Clark & Co., San Francisco" and "Geo. Abernethy & Co., Oregon City," are prominently displayed. This identifies the company as a key player in the transport of goods between the burgeoning settlements of the West Coast. The document appears to be signed by Hiram Clark ("H. The printing for this document was done by Towne & Bacon, a pioneering 19th-century San Francisco printing establishment and a cornerstone of the city s burgeoning publishing industry during the Gold Rush era and beyond. Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento
Si rescinde este contrato, le reembolsaremos todos los pagos que hayamos recibido de usted, incluidos los gastos de envío (excepto los gastos adicionales que surjan si elige un tipo de envío que no sea el tipo de envío estándar más económico que ofrecemos).

El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento

We ship packages worldwide, using Federal Express, DHL, UPS and the US Postal Service (USPS). Orders received during before 3 p.m. Pacific Time on days when the gallery is open are typically shipped the same day. All other orders are typically shipped the next business day. When you order an item, you will receive an auto-generated confirmation email, confirming that your order has been processed by our email server. We will follow up with written confirmation that your order is in stock and has been shipped. Feel free to email or phone us if you have other questions.
While we make our best efforts to insure timely delivery of your packages, even the best courier services do not have perfect track records. Holidays and inclement weather can result in unforeseen delays. If you are purchasing an item for a gift or you otherwise have a specific deadline, please specify this information on your order form and use a shipping method that allows a safe time cushion for receipt of your order.
We have several shipping methods, depending upon the item. Maps are typically shipped either flat (encapsulated in Mylar and bound between multiple sheets of packing boards) or in custom thick core packing tubes. If you have a preference, please feel free to include this information when processing your order.
Shipping Insurance will be added to all items over $200.00. Insurance is typically billed at $0.05 per $100.00 (e.g., insurance for a $1000.00 map would be $5.00).
