Most of the railroad are in the southern portions of these states. The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is mostly untamed wilderness with a few isolated copper mines. Northern Wisconsin is mostly inhabited by mosquitoes. In the upper right part of the map is a small inset map of the Vicinity of Detroit. In the lower left corner is another inset map of the Vicinity of Milwaukee. The entire map is surrounded by a decorative floral border. *** Crisp, clean image with bright colors. The verso is blank. Some very light browning on margin edges. *** Sheet is 14.5 inches tall by 11.75 inches, image is 12.5 inches tall by 10.5 inches.
