In late September in KwaZulu-Natal, five-year-old Nomusa meets her new neighbor Thandiswa at the green gate of 14 Protea Crescent. What starts as childhood friendship grows into something neither of them can name.

Over twelve years, through school detentions, secret park meetings, and promises made under jacaranda trees, Nomusa and Thandiswa hold onto each other in a world that isn't ready for them. But when tragedy strikes and Thandiswa wakes up with no memory of the girl who loved her since age five, Nomusa is left waiting for someone who doesn't remember her name.

A story of first love, loss, and the question of whether love can survive even when memory doesn't. Set against the backdrop of South Africa, Too Late to Remember is a coming-of-age romance about holding on when everything tells you to let go.

Katlego is a young woman from Limpopo, raised by a single mother who taught her how to be tough, resilient, and never back down from what matters. Growing up, she learned early that if you want something, you have to fight for it.

Writing Finding My Way Back to You was part of that fight - a battle to turn pain into purpose and to tell a story that feels real. This book is for anyone who's ever felt lost, broken, or like giving up. It's proof that even when life breaks you, you can still find your way home.
